I Need Your Help

I am writing this to tell you of a special opportunity that God has put on my heart recently. Studying at Oklahoma Christian University, many opportunities for local and international missions are presented. One of these organizations is the "Let's Start Talking" (LST) ministry which focuses on teaching conversational english to non-english speaking countries through using the book of Luke.

LST is somewhat unique in the fact that the mission is usually comprised of a small team (1-5 individuals) and involves one-on-one readings sessions with locals for a period of 3-6 weeks. Because of the longevity of the mission, long term relationships can form and many seeds of the gospel planted. For more specific information on the ministry visit www.lst.org.

Over the past year and a half I have been involved in "Friend Speak" at my congregation which is the local version of LST. It has been so cool to see the growth happen in my reading partner through sharing my faith story, and letting the word of God spark our conversation. She is my inspiration and motivation for wanting to pursue this mission in an international setting. LST not only provides a solution to a need but helps people from different cultures connect on a spiritual level. 

This summer, I have been blessed with the opportunity to serve with the Let's Start Talking mission in Kiev Ukraine, Lord willing.

 I have prayed a lot about this opportunity, and have faith that God will provide if it be His will that I go this summer. This is where you as God's family come in.
