PEACE

When stress boils, about to erupt

And temptation coils like a serpent corrupt

LORD GIVE ME PEACE 

When negativity surrounds

I look up to the clouds

And say,

LORD GIVE ME PEACE 

As the days go by

And pressure is nigh

LORD GIVE ME PEACE 

When evil spirits lurk

And thoughts begin to murk

LORD GIVE ME PEACE 

As my time is filled more

And spiritually, I am poor

LORD GIVE ME PEACE 

When emotions are high

And I just want to cry

LORD GIVE ME PEACE 

When my heart is burdened

And ambushed by a warden

LORD GIVE ME PEACE 

When attention is sought

But my trust can't be bought

LORD GIVE ME PEACE 

As I consider myself less

Nothing near the best

LORD GIVE ME PEACE 

As the good book reminds

Seek and you shall find

So LORD GIVE ME PEACE
